Those were the days when they learned Gemara and\u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic;\"\u003e mussar\u003c\/span\u003e with a \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic;\"\u003ebren\u003c\/span\u003e, with diligence and fervor, exchanging new Torah insights, refining their worldview, and spurring each other to grow to loftier heights with incredible \u003cspan style=\"font-style: italic;\"\u003emesirus nefesh\u003c\/span\u003e. \u003cbr\u003e \t      Now that time had passed.
