Lag B`omer 1987 will long be remembered as one of the most exciting and inspirational Lag B`omer celebrations in Jewish history. Hundreds of thousands of children around the world marched in thousands of parades sponsored by Chabad-Lubavitch.

An address by the Lubavitcher Rebbe was the highlight of the central parade in Brooklyn, New York. The theme of the parade was "Saluting the unity of the Jewish People."
