The Jewish People were chosen in the merit of the great forefathers and in their own merit as a holy nation. Today, as individual descendants of our great ancestors, we are tasked with replicating the faith and deeds of our forefathers, as the Midrash implores every individual to ask himself - When will my deeds reach the level of our forefathers, Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov?
